Factory Outlet participated in the Greece Race for the Cure® with a large team of 330 people!
The Factory Outlet team participated for the 12th year in the Greece Race for the Cure®, for the prevention of breast cancer. On Sunday, September 29, the large Factory Outlet team was present and competed among thousands of participants, honoring women facing the disease and actively contributing to raising funds for the implementation of programs of the Association “Alma Zois!
With a large team of 330 runners and walkers, Factory Outlet ranked 2nd among the 3 largest teams in the category of teams from private initiative of the 16th Greece Race for the Cure® and 8th in terms of number of participants out of 1,674 teams. The Director of Factory Outlet Piraeus, Kyriaki Tsirikou, said upon receiving the award: “We would like to thank everyone who participated in the Factory Outlet team and contributed to this important award. We must not forget that when units become teams, they achieve the impossible. This award is dedicated to these women who are fighting the great fight and we stand by them and support them every year!”
The Greece Race for the Cure ® is now one of the most popular races aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer in Europe, while it is the largest sporting event with a social purpose in Greece, gathering more than 264,000 participants throughout the history of the event since 2009.
